0700-1500 Position Summary We are seeking a professional and dependable Security Officer to staff a downtown parking booth position. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for tenants, visitors, and property assets through visible patrols, access control, and prompt response to incidents. Key Responsibilities Monitor and control access to the building, including visitor and contractor sign-in procedures Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols to deter and detect security concerns Observe, report, and document suspicious activity, safety hazards, and incidents Respond appropriately to alarms, emergencies, and tenant requests Enforce building rules, security procedures, and post orders in a professional manner Provide customer service to tenants and visitors while maintaining a security presence Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident reports Coordinate with property management, emergency services, and on-site staff as needed Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Strong customer service and communication skills Professional appearance and demeanor (no neck, face, or below-the-wrist tattoos) Ability to stand for extended periods Preferred Qualifications Experience in corporate, commercial, or Class A office building security Experience with visitor management systems and access control software Military or law enforcement background is a plus Ideal Candidate Highly reliable with strong attendance and punctuality Resides within reasonable distance of assigned site What We Offer Competitive pay Opportunities for advancement Professional training and support Stable work environment If you are an experienced Security Officer or have no experience as a security officer, but take pride in professionalism and customer service, apply today!
