This open competitive advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Circuit 08-0 Gainesville. The mission of the Parole/Probation Specialist is to support the effective functioning of community corrections by managing the intake and processing of offenders, ensuring accurate data entry, and maintaining comprehensive offender records. This role is crucial in enhancing public safety by interpreting and coding sentencing documents, verifying offender data, and preparing detailed criminal records. This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.JOB DUTIES
Enter and update offender information in the computer system, including sentencing and financial details. Research and verify offender data to create accurate records and help with orientation programs. Request and review criminal records and prepare prior records for new offenders. Manage and oversee the daily intake and processing of offenders into the tracking system, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with guidelines. Ensure data accuracy through quality checks and generate reports for management.BENEFITS
