Job Description

OVERVIEW
Advocate Program, Inc. is a multi-faceted community agency whose missions is to facilitate social change and enhance public safety through leadership, research, education, supervision, and services, utilizing best and evidence-based practices.
JOB PURPOSE
Domestic violence case manager provides support and advocacy to individuals experiencing domestic violence, such as crisis intervention, safety planning, access to community resources, legal assistance, counseling, and case management to help them achieve safety and stability in their lives, all while maintaining strict confidentiality and trauma-informed practice.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or related field, preferred. College students seeking a degree in criminal justice or related field will be considered, or a high school diploma with over 5 years work experience in a criminal justice setting. Bilingual (English/Spanish) Computer Skills (Microsoft Office) Valid Driver's License Strong organization and time management skills Good communication skills (both written and verbal) Candidates should be creative, highly motivated, and able to thrive under pressure Strong problem-solving skills and ability to function in a fast paced team environment
RESPONSIBILITIES
Attends arraignments calendars virtually. Explains diversion programs to clients and facilitates online enrollment process. Conducts Virtual/Electronic Intakes with clients using software such as Adobe Sign, Zoom, and Microsoft programs. May, on occasion, provide status reports on existing clients in Court. Provide general customer service, schedule clients for class, complete phone payments. Complete data entry consistent with program guidelines. Process Domestic Violence Referrals Miscellaneous duties as determined by supervisor.

The employee performs work in a normal office setting within a reasonable environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to perform local and non-local travel.
NOTE:
Hours for this position are determined by the chosen applicant and the supervisor. Minimum amount of hours per week: 25-29. This position is
PART TIME IN-PERSON
so you will not be eligible for benefits.
