Working under the Treatment Court Supervisor and Director, you will carry a specialized caseload, connecting defendants with community services, monitoring compliance, and collaborating with the full Treatment Court team to support rehabilitation and public safety. This is a union position with a non-traditional schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and some holidays. What you'll do Supervise and counsel defendants placed on your caseload, monitoring all conditions of probation as ordered by the Twenty-Third Judicial Circuit Court and reporting violations to the State's Attorney's Office Conduct enhanced face-to-face supervision contacts guided by Risk/Need assessment tools and individualized defendant needs Prepare and present accurate, timely case information for court proceedings, including written reports and testimony Refer defendants to appropriate community social service agencies and advocate on their behalf for needed services Collaborate closely with the Treatment Court team to report defendant progress, and to deliver sanctions and incentives as directed Apply the Effective Casework Model (ECW) in all casework interactions Maintain accurate case records and submit weekly activity and monthly statistical reports Attend court sessions, staffings, team meetings, and conduct home visits as required Build and sustain positive working relationships with allied agencies and community partners What you'll bring Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (required); prior experience in probation, criminal justice, social work, or a related field preferred Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, professional reports for court and agency use Effective oral communication skills to gather information from defendants and convey their needs to service providers Sound analytical judgment and problem-solving ability for casework decisions and policy compliance Cultural sensitivity and interpersonal awareness across diverse defendant populations Familiarity with local community social service agencies and resources Solid organizational and time management skills to handle a varied caseload and meet deadlines Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Valid driver's license and ability to transport yourself as required for field work and home visits Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus Scheduleworking conditions This position is primarily office-based with regular court appearances, home visits, and community agency contacts. A flexible, adaptable schedule is essential, as evening, weekend, and occasional holiday hours are part of the role.
