Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Recovery Specialist to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support to individuals navigating recovery from behavioral health challenges, addiction, or crisis situations. Your energetic approach will empower clients to achieve stability, develop essential life skills, and foster independence. As a Recovery Specialist, you will serve as a positive role model, advocate, and facilitator of growth within a supportive environment. Your proactive engagement will help clients overcome obstacles and build resilience for lasting recovery.
Duties:
Conduct thorough intake assessments to understand clients' needs, histories, and goals, ensuring personalized recovery plans. Supervise and monitor clients' daily activities, ensuring safety and adherence to treatment protocols. Implement crisis intervention strategies promptly and effectively during emergency situations to de-escalate conflicts and ensure client safety. Provide addiction counseling and behavioral health support, guiding clients through recovery processes with empathy and professionalism. Manage case documentation meticulously, including data entry, filing, and data collection to track progress and compliance. Administer medication as prescribed following proper protocols and maintain accurate medication administration records. Facilitate conflict management by mediating disputes and promoting positive communication among clients and staff.
Requirements:
High school or GED preferred. Min. 1 year experience as recovery specialist American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) Benefits Comprehensive Medical Benefits Matching 401K Referral Bonus of $750 for each Referral!
