Juvenile Intake/Probation Officer Cover letter & resume, county application, copy of transcripts, and writing sample should be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, to the Wexford County Human Resources Office, 437 E. Division Street, Cadillac
MI 49601.

Wexford County Probate/Family Division Court Classification:
M2 (non-union), Full-Time (75 hours bi-weekly),
Full Benefits Benefits:
Hybrid Penison - 5% employee contribution, Health/Dental/Vision Insurance - 10% employee contribution, Paid Holidays, Vacation & Medical Leave, Life Insurance, Short-term Disability Insurance.
Hourly Wage:
$21.93 - $28.32
Qualifications:
Minimum bachelor's degree in: Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology or Human Services Minimum five (5) years of related work experience Certification training for the
MJJAS/OYAS
tool suite is required Certification training for the Massachusetts Youth Screening Assessment (MAYSI-2_ or an approved substitute) Trial Court Policies and Procedures Family Division Juvenile Statutes Adequate knowledge of trauma Familiarity with restorative practices Physiological awareness of juvenile development Experience in case evaluation and individualized case service planning Will successfully complete the required juvenile court staff certification through the Michigan Judicial Institute training within two years of employment (per Michigan Supreme Court Administrative Order 1985-5) Valid Michigan driver's license and a good driving record. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook Email & Calendar and Zoom. Qualifications and/or training in de-escalation.
