Duties & Responsibilities Engages in conferences with clients to gather all pertinent information and input the data into the PACSES (Pennsylvania Child Support Enforcement System) to establish a court order for support. If an agreement cannot be reached between the parties, a timely recommendation is generated based on the facts and circumstances of the individual case. All information must be concise, accurate and detailed in an organized manner incase the court order is referred to DeNovo or Superior Court. Composes orders for the approval of the court for the withdrawal of complaints, suspensions, dismissals and/or terminations if a client's cooperation is not obtainable. Interacts professionally with Judges, other Court Offices locally and statewide and relevant governmental agencies as may be required. Prepares monthly statistical reports and performs similar or related duties as required. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Knowledge of Pennsylvania Rules of Civil Procedures and departmental procedures as may be required in the administration of the Child Support Establishment activity. Interface professionally with the public and clients with fairness and firmness. Defuse volatile situations and work effectively with people to aid them in adjusting to their specific problems. Superior mathematical ability, an understanding of case law, and an overall knowledge of Domestic Relations. Good communication skills with court personnel and the public, conducted in a professional manner. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences Preferred Qualifications Experience dealing with the public preferred. Conditions Of Employment Verbal and written mediation skills.
