JOB DESCRIPTION
Join our team to help improve lives and create a safer Utah. The Caseworker Specialist II position is a Licensed Caseworker Position requiring a SSW, SUDC or ASUDC license. CWS IIs on our team provide evidence based, individualized services to individuals who are supervised by the Utah Department of Corrections. This is a full time position with state employee benefits. The wage is $31.03 hourly. CWS IIs teach classes and counseling groups, provide substance use assessments, participate in a multidisciplinary treatment team, and provide case management services to our clients. You will be an important piece of a multidisciplinary team working to improve the lives of our clients and reduce their criminogenic risk factors while increasing their abilities to remain drug free. This position is in a secure prison facility. We have 3 positions available in the following locations: Achieve-1480 N. 8000 W.SLC, UT 84116

Hope-255 E. 300 N. Gunnison, Ut 84639 Candidate must have one of the following licenses: Substance Use Disorder Counselor (SUDC) Behavioral Health Coach Advanced Substance Use Disorder Counselor (ASUDC) Social Service Workers (SSW)THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
Bachelor level degree in a social science field. Experience providing services to clients with substance use disorders. Experience providing services to justice involved individuals. Effective teaching and counseling skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of substance use assessments. Knowledge of criminogenic risk factors and assessments. Qualifications Examples of Duties Provides psycho-educational classes and groups. Provides relapse prevention counseling services. Conducts substance use and criminogenic risk assessment. Provides case management services directly with clients. Engages in quality written and verbal communication with clients, the treatment team, and security personnel. Maintains accurate documentation of all services provided. Possibly supervisor staff with similar job responsibilities.Supplemental Information:

Safety and risk issues inherent while working within a correctional facility with an offender population are presumed. Work may require the ability to stand; walk over rough surfaces; bend, crouch, stoop, stretch, reach, lift moderately heavy items (up to 50 lbs.).NOTE:
