• Full-time Probation Officer Responsible to the Office Manager Primary responsibilities are to protect society, ensure compliance with Orders of the Court, and provide assistance to clients.

In accomplishing these responsibilities, the following guidelines apply: Meet with clients regularly to monitor and ensure compliance. Document case files accurately and in enough detail so that any other officer will know the circumstances of the case. Appear in court as assigned to take referrals, testify in hearings and provide accurate information to the court. Investigate and follow up on all information received on each probation case. File probation violations as necessary. Communicate accurately and effectively with other PSI staff members, court officials, judges, attorneys, law enforcement, treatment providers and clients. Provide written informative and investigative reports to the court and others as necessary. Compile end of month statistical reports.
