Specific Duties:
Oversee and provide training and assistance in the Juvenile Case Management System Supervise and provide training and assistance to Juvenile Probation Officers in daily case Management and other job duties. Assume Chief Juvenile Probation Officers duties/responsibilities in his/her absence Recommend disposition(s) in formal court proceedings Acting as the primary supervising officer for court ordered and deferred prosecution cases Developing and implementing case plans and conducting risk/needs assessment Making detention and release decisions as authorized by the Texas Family Code Conducting office, school, and home visits with the youth and family Visiting youth in residential placement facilities Conducting after hour supervision and curfew checks On call duties after work hours and on weekends Supervising programs as assigned after work hours / on weekends Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Juvenile Probation Officer
