  • Full-time Job Summary The New River Valley Recovery Court Team is looking for a Clinician!
The Recovery Court Clinician provides direct community treatment services for participants of the Recovery Court Program who have been diagnosed with a substance use disorder and are involved with the criminal justice system. The Clinician works as a part of the Recovery Court Team to provide comprehensive evaluations, psycho-education, individual and group counseling services. Develops and maintains working relationships with participants and the Recovery Court Team to identify areas of need and ensure quality services.
Starting Salary:
$50,400.00
  • Depending on Experience.
Educational Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master's degree in social work, counseling, or other licensed
  • eligible human services field is required State of Virginia License in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy is preferred.
License eligibility is required if not fully licensed and registration with the appropriate board is required within three months of hire. At least one year of clinical experience working with individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, developmental and/or intellectual disabilities is preferred.
