Restorative Justice Intake & Community Coordinator YWCA of Madison - 3.7 Madison, WI Job Details Full-time From $50,000 a year 2 hours ago Qualifications Spanish Community engagement Volunteer management Collaborating with government agencies English Mid-level Criminal Justice Social Sciences Driver's License Associate's degree in criminal justice Case management Driving Human Services Associate's degree 2 years Home visits (communication methods) Full Job Description The Restorative Justice Intake and Community Coordinator is responsible for coordinating intake services for youth ages 12-17 receiving municipal tickets and referring to restorative justice programming at our partner agencies. This role will also work closely with the Restorative Justice Community Program team to plan and facilitate restorative justice circles and case management with youth who qualify for municipal tickets or have been referred by our community partners. This work involves regular collaboration with our community program partners like Madison Police Department, Madison Municipal Court, Dane County Department of Human Services, Police Departments and Courts at other Dane County Municipalities, and our different community sites. This position requires mainly afternoon/evening hours and some work on weekends and includes frequent travel to community sites as well as some home visits. In addition, the person in this position will be responsible for working with adult volunteers. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree in the social sciences, human services, criminal justice or related field, or commensurate experience: either 2+ years' experience providing youth & family services; 2+ years working in the field of Racial Justice/Equity in addition to required experience below; or 2+ years working in the field of Restorative Justice.
Additional experience required:
1 year experience working with diverse families, experience providing home visits, bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required. Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle and the ability to serve multiple sites within the time parameters dictated by our partners. Must be available to work weekday afternoons/evenings and some weekends. Candidates should support the mission of the

elimination of racism and empowerment of women, demonstrate multi-cultural competency and the ability to work with diverse populations. People of color and individuals bilingual/bi-cultural in English/Spanish are encouraged to apply. Candidates must pass a caregivers background check. Starting salary is $50,000 annually.
