Job Summary Responsible for ensuring that the MGB Health Plan adheres to all relevant regulations and standards governing the commercial line of business. This role involves managing regulatory submissions, ensuring compliance with healthcare laws and policies, and leading efforts to maintain high standards of quality and privacy across the organization. Essential Functions Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including those related to healthcare delivery, accreditation, and member privacy. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices. Prepare, review, and submit regulatory documents and reports to governmental agencies and accrediting bodies. Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify areas of risk and ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Develop and implement action plans to address any compliance issues or deficiencies identified during audits. Develop and deliver training programs for staff on regulatory requirements, compliance policies, and best practices. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree required- experience can be considered in lieu of degree Experience At least 5-7 years of experience in regulatory affairs, compliance, or accreditation within a healthcare setting required At least 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role required Compliance, privacy, or regulatory experience at a commercial health plan highly preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and accreditation requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and external stakeholders. Experience in managing audits, preparing regulatory submissions, and implementing compliance programs. Ability to stay current with evolving regulations and industry trends.
