Job Description

Relief Safety Group is seeking an Onsite Safety Manager to support a short-term construction project in Bessemer, AL. Required onsite Monday 7/13 for a 2-3 week project. 40-50+ hours per week.(M-F, Sat as needed)

required onsite. OSHA 500 or BCSP certification(s) are preferred. Working onsite with our client overseeing an EV charging install. The Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing all site safety activities, ensuring compliance with OSHA and client-specific safety requirements, and promoting a culture of safety throughout the project. Responsibilities Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with federal, state, and company safety policies. Conduct safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training for site personnel. Perform regular jobsite inspections, audits, and hazard assessments. Investigate incidents/near misses, document findings, and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors to maintain a safe work environment. Maintain accurate safety records and prepare reports as required.
