Job Description

Health & Safety Manager - Tuscaloosa, AL Lead the safety strategy behind complex refinery operations where operational excellence and risk prevention truly matter. Our client is seeking a high-impact Health & Safety leader to drive enterprise-wide safety systems, strengthen compliance, and influence culture across multiple industrial facilities.

Compensation:
$130,000 - $150,000
DOE What You'll Be Doing:
  • Develop and maintain enterprise-wide health and safety programs and standards
  • Lead safety governance, compliance, and management system consistency across facilities
  • Support audits, regulatory inspections, and agency interactions
  • Drive incident investigations and root cause analysis initiatives
  • Analyze KPI trends and deliver executive-level reporting and recommendations
  • Establish contractor safety and enterprise training standards
  • Partner with site leadership to improve operational safety performance and culture What You'll Need to be
Considered:
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive health & safety experience in refining, petrochemical, chemical manufacturing, or other heavy industrial environments
  • Strong background in refinery, petrochemical, or heavy industrial safety environments
  • Experience leading multi-site or enterprise-level safety initiatives
  • Experience building or managing Health & Safety Management Systems
  • Root cause analysis expertise including TapRooT, Five Why, or Cause Mapping
  • CSP, CIH, or related safety certification preferred Apply Now!
