Principal Product Manager - Robotics Safety

Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Principal Product Manager

• Robotics Safety & Compliance to their client's growing team.

This individual will spend their day owning the full product lifecycle for autonomous robotics solutions, from defining strategy and requirements to prioritizing roadmaps, launching products, and driving post-launch optimization. They will work closely with robotics engineering teams across hardware, software, and control systems to ensure safety, compliance, and performance standards are fully integrated into product design and deployment. The Product Manager will also translate customer feedback, operational data, and market insights into clear product requirements and strategic decisions that drive commercial value and scalability. Additionally, they will lead safety and compliance initiatives, ensuring products meet global regulatory standards while mitigating risks through proper architecture and validation planning. Throughout the process, this person will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, commercialization, and field teams while communicating progress, performance metrics, and roadmap decisions to leadership and stakeholders. • 8+ years of experience in product management with robotics, autonomy, or industrial automation products
• Strong understanding of robotics systems architecture, including hardware, software, sensing, perception, and control systems
• Working knowledge of robotics safety and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, IEC, ANSI/RIA) and experience supporting regulatory certification
• Experience owning the full product lifecycle, including roadmap development, requirements definition, and data-driven product decisions
• Experience working with cross-functional robotics engineering teams (hardware, autonomy software, perception, and controls) in real-world deployments
• Experience scaling or launching a new robotics, automation, or startup-like product within an organization
• Experience using data analytics tools (e.

g., SQL, Python, Tableau) to drive product performance and decision-making
