Available Are you an experienced Environmental Health & Safety leader looking to drive a strong safety culture within a leading food manufacturing organization? This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for shaping, implementing, and continuously improving site-wide EHS programs while ensuring full regulatory compliance and supporting SQF food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, develop, and manage all Environmental Health & Safety programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Oversee and continuously improve the internal EHS management system Develop site safety strategies, annual budgets, and comprehensive training programs Drive behavior-based safety initiatives and promote a proactive safety culture Lead crisis management, sustainability, and risk mitigation initiatives Support production and department leaders in implementing hazard control programs Conduct accident investigations and implement corrective and preventative actions Direct industrial hygiene programs and evaluate emerging safety technologies Chair safety committee meetings and act as liaison with regulatory agencies Manage OSHA recordkeeping, workers' compensation cases, and incident reporting systems Support internal and external audits, including SQF and compliance audits

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health Management or related field (Industrial Hygiene / Safety focus preferred) Master's degree and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation highly desirable Minimum 5 years of EHS leadership experience within a manufacturing environment OSHA compliance and recordkeeping Audit preparation and regulatory inspections
