Job Description
Job Summary Implementation and management of all Safety programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
Implements, manages and maintains all elements of a comprehensive Health and Safety Program. Continuously improve employee / facility safety and ensure compliance with OSHA / FMCSA/ State regulations.
Measures and drive continuous improvement of comprehensive Safety Programs through participation / review of information collected through Internal Audits; Accident / Injury / Incident investigationsManage property damage for each locationPerforms Safety audits on each site quarterly Works closely with operations on events and accidentsQualificationsMust be proficient with MS Office applications with expertise in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. SharePoint expertise is also preferred.
Must have excellent organization and both verbal/written communication skills.
Must be able to manage conflict as it relates to safety or environmental situations.
Must be willing/able to travel up to all sites in the North RegionEducationBachelor's Degree preferred 4+ years of safety management experience, preferably in waste management, transportation, or heavy industrial environmentsStrong knowledge of
