Position Summary Turner Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support heavy civil, construction, road building, and mining project sites. This field-based role focuses on promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing hands-on safety leadership across multiple project locations. + Deliver field-level safety orientations and lead safety meetings + Promote and model safe work behaviors and best practices + Conduct site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments + Support incident and near-miss investigations + Monitor compliance with Turner Staffing Group's Safe Work Practices and PPE policies + Collaborate with workers, supervisors, and management to identify and mitigate hazards + Track safety trends and recommend continuous improvements + Travel to multiple project sites as required + Minimum 5 years' experience as a Health & Safety Advisor in heavy civil, construction, or mining environments + Strong knowledge of provincial OH&S regulations + MSHA Part 48 certification or ability to obtain + Alcohol and Drug Screening (pre-employment) + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work 12-hour rotational day/night shifts + Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions + Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills + High school diploma required; post-secondary education an asset To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
