Job Description

Construction Safety ManagerJob Summary We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Construction Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across construction sites, ensuring a secure and compliant work environment. In this pivotal role, you will develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs that promote occupational health, mitigate risks, and uphold industry standards. Your expertise will drive a culture of safety excellence, empowering teams to deliver projects efficiently while prioritizing well-being and regulatory compliance. Duties Develop and execute robust safety policies aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards, NEC (National Electrical Code), and other relevant regulations to ensure full compliance across all construction activities. Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards related to construction management, risk management, and occupational health, implementing corrective actions promptly. Lead safety training sessions for construction teams, emphasizing safe work practices, hazard recognition, and emergency response procedures. Manage incident investigations related to workers' compensation claims and safety breaches, analyzing root causes to prevent recurrence. Oversee compliance management efforts by maintaining accurate safety documentation, reports, and records within construction management software systems. Collaborate with project managers and contractors to integrate EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) best practices into daily operations. Monitor adherence to OSHA regulations and industry standards such as NEC guidelines, ensuring all personnel are trained on current safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site safety management with a strong understanding of construction management processes. Demonstrated expertise in risk management, occupational health practices, and compliance management within the construction industry. Familiarity with OSHA regulations, NEC standards, workers' compensation procedures, and EHS principles. Proficiency in construction management software for tracking safety metrics and reporting. Excellent communication skills to effectively train teams and liaise with regulatory agencies. Ability to conduct thorough site inspections and risk assessments in diverse construction environments. Preferred certifications include
OSHA 510, OSHA
500, Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), or equivalent construction safety credentials.
