Safety Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Safety Manager to lead our organization's safety initiatives and foster a culture of health, safety, and compliance. In this vital role, you will develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs that protect our employees, contractors, and visitors across all operational areas. Your expertise will ensure adherence to federal, state, and local safety regulations while promoting a safe working environment that minimizes risks and encourages continuous improvement. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain robust safety policies aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) regulations. Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions promptly. Lead incident investigations using root cause analysis techniques to determine underlying issues and prevent recurrence. Coordinate safety training programs including CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), first aid, OSHA compliance, and EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) best practices for all staff. Ensure compliance with workers' compensation law by managing injury reports, claims processing, and return-to-work programs. Prepare detailed report writing on safety incidents, audit findings, and compliance status for management review. Foster a culture of continuous improvement through training & development initiatives focused on occupational health and safety awareness. Experience Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of OSHA regulations and occupational health standards. Demonstrated ability to conduct root cause analysis and report writing related to safety incidents. Prior experience managing workers' compensation processes and implementing injury prevention strategies. Knowledge of EPA regulations pertinent to manufacturing operations and environmental compliance. Certification in CPR, first aid, OSHA safety standards or related fields is highly desirable. Strong training & development skills with the ability to communicate complex safety concepts effectively. Familiarity with EHS management systems and reporting tools to track safety performance metrics. Pay:

$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
