Construction Safety Officer

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Construction Safety Manager to oversee and enforce safety practices for our industrial contracting operations. This role is responsible for managing safety programs, ensuring compliance with Cal/OSHA regulations, conducting site inspections, and supporting field crews to maintain a strong culture of safety. Responsibilities Administer and enforce Cal/OSHA and company safety policies and procedures Conduct regular job site inspections to ensure safe working conditions Manage incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions Oversee and coordinate safety training programs for field crews Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all projects Maintain accurate safety records and documentation Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and contractor teams Requirements Previous experience working with construction and contractor field crews Ability to oversee safety training and practices for a ~30-person industrial contracting team Strong knowledge of Cal/OSHA regulations and safety compliance Experience conducting job site inspections and managing incident investigations Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with Procore and Autodesk construction software Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software (highly preferred) Bilingual in English and Spanish Skills Construction safety & job site safety OSHA / Cal/OSHA compliance Crew management & leadership Contractor coordination Incident management Building Information Modeling (BIM) Bilingual communication (English/Spanish)

Pay:

$75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
