Duties Help The Front Line Manager is responsible for aviion safety activities in a complex and dynamic environment. Manages and monitors individual and unit, group, or team performance standards with organizional initiives, goals, and objectives by providing feedback, acknowledging achievement, and addressing performance deficiencies. Incumbent has full authority and responsibility to make all decisions and take action in the assigned program areas, subject to the manager's administrive review. Higher-level management reviews performance periodically by utilizing/reviewing work products, stus reports, and organizional measures in place to ensure timeliness, policy compliance, and overall alignment with the Flight Standards Service. Directs the work of subordine employees the organizional unit level creing approprie expections for achieving intended results. Applicants must be physically able to perform the duties of the Aviion Safety Inspector position in a safe and efficient manner, with or without a reasonable accommodion. In addition, applicants for positions th require participion in the operion of the aircraft must: Possess a valid second ¿ class medical certifice in accordance with FAA regulions; and Pass recurrent medical examinions as prescribed by the FAA. Aircraft avionics experience involving the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of installed avionics systems on aircraft. Aircraft avionics work experience (which could include supervision or auditing) in a repair stion; air carrier repair facility; military repair facility; or local, ste, or Federal governmental agency within the last 3 years. Or When the predominant work involves general aviion maintenance , applicants for Aviion Safety Inspector (Airworthiness) positions must meet all of the following requirements. Experience involving the maintenance and repair of airframes, power plants, and aircraft systems with responsibility for certifying airworthiness. Maintenance experience with aircraft 12,500 pounds or less maximum certificed takeoff weight.
