Construction and Safety Manager

job summary: Looking for a Construction and Safety Manager in San Jose, CA. Join Our Client, a top 3 R D investor in Life Sciences! We need an on-site leader with a BS degree, 10+ yrs cleanroom construction experience, and OSHA 30 to lead a $25M capital project.

San Jose, California job type: Contract salary: $71.94 - 96.22 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Manage general contractors and site activities for capital cleanroom projects, ensuring maximum efficiency and adherence to project schedules and budgets.

Drive the safety program with a zero-incident goal, conduct QA inspections, and lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions.

Oversee the general contractor's permitting, building inspections, and strictly enforce approved project specifications and procedures.

Coordinate change management, evaluate contractor estimates, and negotiate change orders for stakeholder approval.

Track project KPIs, provide regular progress updates to project management, and seamlessly collaborate with EHS and other critical teams.
