United States, California, Tracy 16551 West Schulte Road (Show on map) Apr 16, 2026 Corporate Security & Safety Manager $92,500 Yearly Position Overview The Corporate Security & Safety Manager leads and oversees all security and workplace safety operations for the logistics center. This role manages onsite contract security personnel, security systems, investigations, loss prevention programs, and serves as the primary liaison with law enforcement and carrier security partners. The position also champions the continuous improvement, compliance, and sustainability of the site's health and safety program, ensuring employees are protected from workplace hazards, injury, and illness. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Security & Loss Prevention Manage, coordinate, and direct all activities of the onsite contract security team, including guard operations, access control, alarms, CCTV, recording equipment, and perimeter control Ensure compliance with corporate security and loss prevention policies; prevent, identify, and report theft or loss of company property or time Conduct random quality control and loss prevention audits across receiving, put away, picking, packing, shipping, and CPU processes Perform investigations into missing product, suspected criminal activity, fraud, and policy violations, coordinate findings with law enforcement and senior management Review CCTV footage related to investigations and maintain detailed logs of tape changes Act as liaison between TD SYNNEX, local carriers, and carrier security personnel Maintain ongoing relationships with local law enforcement agencies and respond to security incidents as needed Security Systems & Audits Complete weekly Physical Security Protocol audits, including inspections of door contacts, motion detectors, photoelectric transmitters/receivers, and alarm systems Ensure all security systems are operational, including radio and telephone communications Coordinate repairs of inoperative security equipment with Maintenance or approved subcontractors Conduct monthly alarm testing with the Central Monitoring Station and document all alarm activations, including false alarms Be available to respond to alarm activations on weekends and holidays Guard Force & Training Coordinate all security guard operations and ensure performance and service quality Conduct regular training for contract guards to ensure understanding and enforcement of currentTD SYNNEX
security policies Hold weekly meetings with the contract security captain Provide ongoing loss prevention and security training toTD SYNNEX
employees Inventory & Audit Oversight Partner with Inventory Control on investigations involving missing product Participate in quarterly physical inventories and investigate significant variances Conduct random security cycle counts of highrisk ("hot") items independent of Inventory Control Prepare weekly error and audit reports documenting discrepancies and variances Safety & Compliance Partner with the Safety Department to improve and sustain the site's integrated health and safety management system Manage safety audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, OSHA, and company policies Ensure required safety postings are maintained and updated on the internal safety intranet Manage job hazard analyses, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify and mitigate hazards Oversee the incident investigation process and serve as the final decision authority for faultbased determinations Track, review, and analyze injury and illness data to identify trends and recommend safety improvements Maintain the Illness and Injury Hazard Log and corrective/preventive actions Lead the Safety Committee to ensure regulatory and company requirements are met Ensure purchased and installed equipment meets OSHA and company safety standards Serve as onsite safety liaison for government agencies and regulatory audits Additional Responsibilities Travel to otherTD SYNNEX
logistics centers to support security operations as needed (passport required) Experience 3-5 years of relevant professional experience 1-3 years of direct people management or supervisory experience Minimum of two years' experience as a sworn or certified law enforcement officer Education & Certifications Bachelor's Degree preferred Some college required Law enforcement certification or equivalent experience is a plus Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to resolve complex issues Experience conducting indepth interviews and criminal or civil investigations Proven ability to supervise, train, and evaluate staff Strong leadership, decisionmaking, and interpersonal skills across diverse populations Ability to identify operational risk and make proactive security recommendations Effective communicator with all levels of management; capable group facilitator Skilled negotiator capable of influencing outcomes and gaining alignment Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision Ability to manage potentially hostile situations until law enforcement arrival Basic proficiency with computer systems, including spreadsheets, word processing, and databases Bilingual skills are a plus Key Skills Investigation Management, Loss Prevention Management, Management, Security At TD SYNNEX, our values guide everything we do: Together, We Own It, We Dare to Go, We Grow and Win, and above all, We Do the Right Thing.
