Construction experience Full Job Description Field Safety Manager $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 Depending on Experience
  • 1 to 2 years minimum College education in the Safety field.
  • 3 years experience in the construction safety field preferred
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic proficiency with Computers.
  • Assist the crews in getting necessary PPE as needed
  • always get their PO for orders.
  • Assist Project Managers with Overhead Line warning signs.
  • Perform a Safety Audits on each project that you are on once a week.
  • Train under the Safety Director to assist with paperwork and learn tracking systems.
  • Learn how to document utility hits on site and any other accidents with the public for documentation.
  • Assist in taking movies and still pictures of Traffic control when traffic accidents happen, in the beginning of the project or when accidents happen inside our work zone. Compliance
  • Make sure Project Managers are helping do their part with Weekly Audits
  • Double check CRCC trucks for cleanliness inside the cab and that drivers are doing the DVIR's.
  • Learn how to inspect trucks and trailers as needed for safety issues
  • DOT compliance.
  • Learn how to inspect plants and crusher sites.
  • Assist Crews, Foremen and Superintendents as needed for Safety needs in the field.
  • Attend crew JSA/JHA meetings and assist when necessary to help coach Foremen.
  • If we are on a MSHA site
  • audit the paperwork on site to make sure it is compliant and do a Site Audit as well of Haz mat and general Safety items.
  • Teach new drivers about cargo securement, DOT compliance with HOS, Logs and DVIR's.
  • Demand Subcontractors to comply with Safety protocols such as PPE, trench safety and so forth.
  • Demand CRCC personnel are also complying with Safety Procedures to keep them safe.
