Job Description

Take the next step in your career with a multi-award-winning heavy civil construction company as a Safety Manager . This role will lead, develop, and oversee the safety program across Denver and the surrounding areas, supporting more than $250M in active heavy civil projects . You'll partner closely with project teams and leadership to drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance across all jobsites. What We're Looking For 4+ years of construction safety experience within heavy civil projects Strong knowledge of heavy civil construction equipment, means and methods, and best safety practices Ability and willingness to travel primarily throughout FloridaBachelor's degree Occupational Safety & Health or a related field (or equivalent experience) OSHA Certifications What We Offer Salary- $90K to $130K Company vehicle/ vehicle allowance Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision 401(k) with company match Paid time off and paid holidays Long-term career growth with a stable, award-winning heavy civil contractor The opportunity to lead safety on high-profile, complex heavy civil projects A collaborative team culture that prioritizes safety, quality, and people What You'll Do Develop a culture a safety and trust amongst the crews. Identify, document, and resolve onsite safety hazards through daily jobsite inspections Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports and conduct root cause analyses Ensure accurate OSHA recordkeeping for worksite injuries and illnesses Evaluate subcontractor safety performance in compliance with OSHA's multi-employer worksite rule Develop and conduct safety training programs site safety performance, trends, and metrics to senior leadership
