Job Description
Job Summary We are a motorcoach and transit bus company seeking a Safety and Compliance Manager to oversee our drivers and reporting requirements. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, develop and implement strategic plans, and ensure smooth functionality in fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have previous work experience in the passenger transportation industry. Responsibilities Lead and manage daily operational activities to ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, laws, and guidance Hours of Service (HOS) including violations, log edits, HOS limits. ELD and Telematic Systems to include safety events and related training Vehicle Inspections and Maintenance Compliance (DVIRs) Investigate Incidents and Accidents Driver Training and Safety Meetings FMCSA Audits MVRs FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse NTD Reporting to include ridership, VRM, VRH, expenses PTASP Safety Risk Management Safety Event Reporting Asset Management Qualifications Strong data management and reporting skills Proficiency with Microsoft Suite Knowledgeable about transportation regulations Report writing and documentation skills Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously Communication and Leadership Skills - interact with drivers, mechanics, dispatcher, management Join us as a Safety and Compliance Manager to help shape the future of our organization!
