The SSHO monitors compliance with federal, state, and company safety regulations, identifies hazards, and works proactively to prevent accidents, injuries, and illnesses. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee daily site safety operations and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies Maintain the Site Safety and Health Plan (SSHP) Conduct routine safety inspections and hazard assessments Enforce safety rules, regulations, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Monitor subcontractor compliance with safety requirements Identify unsafe conditions or behaviors and implement corrective measures immediately Must be able to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks for extended periods Minimal Qualifications Education High School Diploma Certification / License OSHA 30 Work Experience 2+ Years General Construction (Safety Professional Role).

Knowledge / Skills

/ Abilities Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards Strong attention to detail and hazard recognition skills Experience in commercial construction or industrial safety General computer competency Preferred Job Requirements Education Associates or Bachelor of Science or similar.

Certification / License

OSHA 500 OSHA 510

CHST, STC, ASP, CSP, CSHO or similar. Work Experience 2+ Years Commercial Construction (Safety Professional Role) 5+ Years General Construction (Safety Professional Role).

This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including short term and long-term incentives. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion, the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Up to 80% travel and valid Driver's License required.
