• $35•40/hr We are currently hiring an experienced Construction Safety Manager for a commercial grocery store construction project in the Jacksonville, FL area.

Candidates must have strong commercial construction safety experience and a minimum OSHA 30 certification. This is a long-term opportunity with steady hours and overtime potential.

Pay:

$35

Project Scope:

Commercial grocery store construction project New construction / remodel experience preferred

Responsibilities:

Oversee and enforce all jobsite safety procedures and OSHA compliance Conduct daily site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments Lead toolbox talks, safety orientations, and weekly safety meetings Investigate incidents, near misses, and implement corrective actions Ensure all employees and subcontractors follow PPE and safety requirements Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records Work directly with project management and field supervision teams to maintain a safe work environment

Requirements:

OSHA 30 certification required 5+ years of construction safety experience preferred Commercial construction experience required Grocery store, retail, or big-box project experience preferred Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety standards CPR/First Aid certification preferred Strong communication and leadership skills

Schedule:

Full-time Monday-Friday with possible overtime and weekends as needed

Pay:

$35.00
