Job Summary:
The Field Safety Supervisor is responsible for making sure our team is able to complete their jobs safely and efficiently in the field. The Field Safety Supervisor must be extremely responsible, responsive, proactive, level-headed, approachable, a strong communicator and maintain a high level of integrity. This person keeps the health and wellbeing of our team a priority, while also servicing the needs of our customers.Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain current knowledge of
OSHA/MSHA
regulatory requirements.- Oversee and ensure safe daily operations in the field.
- Inspect and assess job sites daily to identify hazards, risks, and potential safety issues.
- Develop effective strategies to mitigate risks as they arise in the field.
- Address all safety concerns by providing educated recommendations to ensure the safety of our team members.
- Request hazard correction from our customer's on-site contractor personnel (as needed).
- Coach and train team members in the field on safe operations.
- Conduct various training sessions (New Hire Orientation, Annual Refreshers).
- Conduct interviews to obtain information regarding on-the-job incidents and accidents.
- Provide immediate on-scene assistance and management in the event of an incident.
- Establish a strong working relationship with our customers' and on-site personnel.
- Complete daily administrative duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
