Strong potential for career advancement within a growing organization About the Role A leading South Florida roofing contractor is seeking a dedicated Roofing Safety Manager to oversee and enhance safety programs across residential, commercial, and new construction roofing operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring compliance, reducing risk, and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization. The ideal candidate has experience managing safety programs in the roofing, construction, or related trades industry and is passionate about protecting employees while supporting operational excellence. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide safety policies and procedures Conduct jobsite safety inspections across Broward County and West Palm Beach locations Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee training programs Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses and recommend corrective actions Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records Coordinate safety onboarding and ongoing training for field employees Work closely with operations and production teams to identify and mitigate jobsite hazards Monitor proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Assist with workers' compensation claims management and return-to-work programs Stay current on industry regulations and best practices Qualifications Previous safety management experience in roofing, construction, or a related field Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and workplace safety regulations Experience conducting field audits and jobsite inspections Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to travel regularly between Broward County and West Palm Beach project sites Proficient with safety reporting and documentation OSHA certifications preferred What We Offer Competitive salary of $70,000-$75,000 Benefits package available after 60 days Stable, full-time employment with a growing roofing contractor Exposure to residential, commercial, and new construction projects Professional development and advancement opportunities Supportive leadership team and long-term career growth potential This is an excellent opportunity for a safety professional looking to make a significant impact within a fast-growing roofing organization while building a long-term career in South Florida.
