Orlando, FL Position Summary:
Jon M. Hall Company is seeking a hands-on, bilingual Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across our civil construction and site development projects. This role is approximately 95% field-based, requiring daily site visits, safety observations, and collaboration with project teams, subcontractors, and employees. The ideal candidate is passionate about fostering a proactive safety culture, thrives in physically active environments, and is committed to ensuring every project is executed safely and efficiently.What You'll Do:
- Lead by example in the field, promoting safety among Foremen, Superintendents, Managers, Employees, and Subcontractors.
- Conduct daily safety inspections, meetings, and training directly on job sites.
- Develop and implement site-specific safety programs with Project Managers and Superintendents.
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure subcontractors comply with corporate, OSHA, and client safety regulations.
- Monitor proper use of safety equipment and maintain safety documentation in English and Spanish.
- Assist project teams with DEP compliance and BMP maintenance.
- Undertake special projects as assigned by the Safety Director and/or CFO.
