In this vital role, you will lead safety initiatives across construction sites, develop comprehensive safety protocols, and foster a culture of safety excellence. Your expertise will help mitigate risks, promote occupational health, and ensure adherence to all relevant safety standards and regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence safety practices on major projects while supporting the well-being of all team members involved. Duties Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs tailored to construction site requirements. Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards, NEC (National Electrical Code), and other relevant regulations. Lead risk management efforts by assessing potential hazards, implementing mitigation strategies, and maintaining detailed safety documentation. Coordinate with construction management teams to integrate safety protocols into daily operations and project planning. Manage incident investigations, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. Facilitate safety training sessions for workers, supervisors, and subcontractors to promote a culture of proactive safety awareness. Monitor workers' compensation claims and ensure proper reporting procedures are followed in accordance with legal requirements. Utilize construction management software to track safety metrics, compliance status, and training records effectively. Experience Proven experience in construction site safety management within large-scale projects or similar environments. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, risk management principles, occupational health practices, and compliance management. Familiarity with NEC standards relevant to electrical installations on construction sites. Demonstrated ability to lead safety initiatives using construction management software tools. Excellent communication skills for conducting training sessions and collaborating with diverse teams. Prior experience handling workers' compensation claims and implementing occupational health programs is highly desirable. Construction management or related certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or OSHA 30/40-Hour Training are preferred.
