Safety Director

About the Role A growing commercial roofing contractor is seeking a Safety Director to lead and support safety initiatives across operations throughout the Southeast. This role partners closely with executive leadership, field managers, and crews to strengthen safety culture while supporting day-to-day field operations across multiple job sites and branch locations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on safety leader who can build strong relationships in the field, communicate effectively with crews, and balance safety compliance with operational realities. Responsibilities Lead and support company-wide safety initiatives and programs Conduct jobsite inspections, audits, and safety observations Partner with field leadership and crews to promote a proactive safety culture Lead toolbox talks, trainings, and safety meetings Support weekly operational and production meetings Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards Travel regionally to job sites and branch locations as needed Qualifications 5+ years of construction safety experience required Commercial roofing experience strongly preferred Spanish fluency required OSHA training/certifications preferred Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to work effectively with field operations teams Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required Compensation & Perks Competitive base salary Quarterly bonus potential Company vehicle provided Fuel card and expense card Travel expenses covered Regional travel averaging approximately two days per week Location & Travel Southeast regional coverage Frequent interaction with field operations and jobsite leadership Overnight regional travel as needed based on project activity

Pay:

From $125,000.00 per year
