Site Safety Manager for Switch Cartersville requirements•

Location:

Cartersville, GA is the specific site location. The address listed at 40 perimeter park is just the manager's default location for corporate location.

BE SURE TO RELAY CARTERSVILLE GA

as the work location. Additionally, there will be no mileage nor company car to drive to and from work. This will be treated like any job in which the daily commute is not reimbursed. Thus, candidates must locate in Cartersville or are willing to accept the drive from other parts of Atlanta.

• Minimum 6 months. 6 months to start. But the duration will extend based on the location switch and job completion. This person will remain to ensure safety as long as the construction phase is occurring. The person will have firsthand awareness of the possible end date by being onsite.

Work Schedule:

Typical hours will be

M-F, 7 AM

to 4:30 PM. However, there will be some OT and some Saturdays as well.

• MUST HAVES

  OSHA 30 Construction Course within the past two years
• Must possess at least one of the following Board of Safety Professionals designations o Certified Safety Professional (CSP) o Construction Safety and Health Technician (CHST) o Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) o Associate Safety Professional (ASP)

  Schneider Electric Site Safety Manager for Switch Cartersville requirements
• On Site Daily
• Meet the requirements of "Competent Person" as identified by OSHA for all aspects of Schneider Electric Client installation including low voltage electrical subcontractors o

OSHA Competent Person:

"one who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in surroundings or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and who has the authorization to take prompt and corrective measures to eliminate them"

• Must have current OSHA 30-hour construction course or within the past two years
• Must have the knowledge and ability to arrange or conduct safety and health related training if/when knowledge gaps are identified
• Review and gain Knowledge of Schneider Electrics site specific training plan as well as other Schneider Electric safety procedures and policies including Electrical Safety, LOTO procedures, Ladder Safety, Working at Heights Safety, and reporting procedures for incidents and near misses.
• Training and certifications in CPR/First Aid
• Must possess at least one of the following Board of Safety Professionals designations o Certified Safety Professional (CSP) o Construction Safety and Health Technician (CHST) o Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) o Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
