Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Occupational Health Clinic Manager RN to lead our occupational health services with enthusiasm and expertise. In this vital role, you will oversee the daily operations of the clinic, coordinate health services for diverse employee populations, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Your leadership will foster a positive environment focused on proactive health management, injury prevention, and efficient patient care delivery. Duties Manage all aspects of clinic operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure seamless service delivery. Oversee patient assessments, medical documentation, and treatment plans in accordance with OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards. Coordinate occupational health programs such as injury management, wellness initiatives, vaccination clinics, and health screenings. Supervise clinical staff including nurses and support personnel, providing mentorship and performance evaluations to foster professional growth. Ensure accurate medical records management using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Cerner or Athenahealth; maintain compliance with confidentiality laws. Conduct incident investigations related to workplace injuries or exposures and collaborate with safety teams for risk mitigation strategies. Facilitate communication between employees, management, insurance providers, and external healthcare partners to streamline case management and discharge planning. Skills Proven leadership experience in nurse management within occupational health or related healthcare settings. Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and clinical procedures relevant to occupational medicine. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or Athenahealth; familiarity with
ICD-10/ICD-9
coding for accurate documentation. Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, HIPAA compliance, workers' compensation law, and infection control protocols. Experience in managing diverse clinical environments including industrial settings, long-term care facilities, or hospital-based clinics. Skilled in patient assessment techniques including vital signs measurement, physical examinations, specimen collection/processing, and injury evaluation. Ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment; supervising staff with compassion and clarity. Knowledge of specialized areas such as emergency medicine procedures (airway management, ventilator use), acute pain management, and disability assessments for individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges. $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
