Job Description

Safety Officer Milledgeville, GA 31061 Part-time Part-time Key Responsibilities Emergency response : Monitor and respond to "code" calls (e.g., fire, medical emergencies) and coordinate with fire, and police. Visitor and access control : Monitor premises, verify identities, and enforce security protocols. Physical security : Secure property, equipment, and parking areas; Patient safety : In some settings, assist in restraining patients who pose a threat, following policy and staff.
Documentation :
Complete incident reports, accident investigations, and compliance records. Training and compliance : Conduct safety meetings, audits, and inspections; ensure staff follow OSHA, Life Safety Code, and facility-specific protocols
Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
EHS:
1 year (Preferred)
Occupational Health & Safety Occupations:
1 year (Preferred)
