Job Summary Responsibilities Primary Ensures safety compliance and promotes a proactive safety culture. Oversees driver safety, trucking operations, and yard asset efficiency. Maintains ethical standards and strong accountability in safety practices. Conducts routine safety inspections and enforces safety protocols. Identifies and mitigate potential yard hazards. Manage yard organization, traffic flow, and safety procedures. Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory requirements. Coordinates and monitors truck and equipment maintenance and repairs. Provides support and safety training for drivers. Maintains accurate records and documentation. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Secondary:
Investigate truck accidents/incidents to determine root causes and implement prevention strategies. Document incidents, manage claims, and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with departments and external partners to promote a strong safety culture. Communicate safety initiatives, requirements, and updates to employees and management. Maintain records for vehicle inspections, maintenance, driver qualifications, and safety compliance. Implement emergency response procedures for accidents, breakdowns, and unexpected events. Coordinate with roadside repair providers during emergencies. Other Duties as assigned. Education /
Experience:
HS Diploma/G.E.D. Required, bachelor's degree preferred. 2-3 years related experience required, 3 years preferred. OSHA Certification is a plus but not required. Insurance background preferred. Must have a Valid CDL-A and Medical card with 2 years driving experience. Skills Understand Mechanical terms on trucks trailers Knowledge of commercial auto insurance Knowledge of fleet operations MS Office skills Strong communication skills Strong organization skills dealing with massive documents with various renewal dates Demonstrated a proactive approach to problem-solving and risk mitigation. Unwavering commitment to ethical conduct and responsible decision-making. Strong understanding of yard management principles and best practices.

$50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
