Dalgaranga is a cornerstone high-grade Gold mine in Ramelius Resources' portfolio, located in WA's Murchison region. With a solid 10-year mine life, from both underground and open pit operations, and backed by ongoing exploration and a strong production outlook, Dalgaranga plays a key role in Ramelius' long-term growth strategy.
The Role
As Health & Safety Superintendent at Dalgaranga, you'll support the site's HSE function, ensuring compliance, capability, and continuous improvement across all health, safety, and emergency response activities. Reporting to the Mine Manager, you'll work closely with department leaders and the Group HSE team to embed best practices and protect the wellbeing of everyone on site.
Your key responsibilities will be
Support development and implementation of site safety systems and strategic planning
Ensure emergency response readiness and statutory reporting compliance
Facilitate inspections, audits, and risk assessments across departments
Lead and mentor the site Health & Safety team
Promote a proactive safety culture and open communication across site
Assist in budgeting, planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
Provide expert advice to site leadership on safety, training, and risk management
Ensure compliance with WHS Act 2020 and WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022
About You
You're a confident and capable safety professional with a strong foundation in occupational health and emergency response. With hands-on experience in mining or heavy industry, you bring a proactive approach to building relationships, improving safety systems, leading investigations, and driving compliance.
To be successful, you'll bring:
Diploma in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent)
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
Proven experience in a senior safety role within mining
Strong understanding of WA mining legislation and statutory requirements
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Cert IV in Healthcare

Experience with INX systems and LMS platforms
- desirable
Cert III in Mine Emergency Response
- desirable
Diploma in Quality Auditing
- desirable
