Job Description

Job Description Day-to-Day:
  • Be onsite daily to monitor contractor activity and enforce safety compliance
  • Issue safety permits and conduct routine worksite safety audits
  • Provide weekly audit reports with photo documentation
  • Lead investigations for any safety incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented
  • Coordinate daily with contractors as primary onsite point of contact
  • Support site planning and contractor scheduling activities
  • Oversee construction quality and conduct quality audits
  • Track and document site progress beyond basic observations
  • Mark up and update construction schedules weekly for project alignment
  • Maintain an ongoing log of risks, quality concerns, and mitigation actions
  • Act as liaison for change orders and project adjustments Insight Global is seeking a Construction Safety Manager for a Fortune 50 customer.
This role combines hands-on safety oversight with contractor coordination, site planning, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will be onsite daily, ensuring compliance with safety standards while supporting project execution, progress tracking, and schedule alignment. This is a high-impact role during a critical project phase, requiring strong field presence, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively coordinate across contractors and project leadership.   • 5+ years of experience in construction safety and/or construction management
  • Experience issuing safety permits, conducting audits, and enforcing site safety practices
  • Ability to perform incident investigations and oversee corrective actions
  • Proven experience working onsite daily with contractors and communicate with higher-level stakeholders
  • Experience with construction scheduling, progress tracking, and reporting
  • Experience in agricultural construction environments
  • Prior experience in a hybrid safety + construction management role
  • Familiarity with plant shutdown projects
  • Strong background in construction quality assurance and auditing
