Manager, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)

Fres-co System USA is seeking a hands-on EHS Manager To lead safety and environmental programs across our operations. This role is highly visible and instrumental in driving a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance, and partnering with teams to reduce risk and improve performance. What You'll Do Lead and promote a proactive safety culture across both facilities Conduct safety training, new hire orientation, and weekly toolbox talks Manage incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements Maintain OSHA logs, environmental reporting, and safety documentation Oversee safety programs (LOTO, PPE, confined space, hazard communication, etc.) Facilitate safety committee meetings and management safety walks Track near misses, trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives Manage Workers' Compensation processes and follow-up Partner with operations on safety improvements and capital projects What We're Looking For 10+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial environments Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and NFPA regulations Experience leading safety training and influencing teams on the floor Proven ability to drive safety improvements and reduce incidents Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
