THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY

Reports to the Plant Manager and Director of Human Resources No Direct Reports. Lead workplace safety and environmental efforts by proactively identifying risks across operations and implementing practical solutions that protect employees and maintain compliance. Design and deliver training programs that build a culture of safety, ensuring teams are prepared for daily operations as well as emergency situations. Establish and continuously improve safety policies, inspection routines, and procedures to support consistent, company-wide standards. Monitor and reinforce compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines, maintaining accurate documentation, reporting, and audit readiness. Partner with leadership and frontline teams to address incidents, manage workers' compensation processes, and support safe return-to-work initiatives. Oversee safety systems and resources—including PPE, hazard communication, and committee engagement—to drive accountability and ongoing improvement. Job Requirements

BACKGROUND PROFILE

• 3+ Years Related Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Safety OSHA or Related Field.
• Certified Safety Professifonal - Preferred.
• Bi-lingual - Preferred.
