Job Description

Job Description Position Overview Insight Global is seeking a hands-on HR & Quality Manager to support warehouse and shop operations. This role will lead HR functions for hourly and shop employees, while also owning quality, safety, and OSHA compliance initiatives across production and warehouse environments. This is a highly visible role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, operational setting and can balance people leadership with regulatory and quality oversight. Key Responsibilities Human Resources Leadership Serve as the primary HR leader for warehouse and shop employees Manage full-cycle HR responsibilities including: Employee relations and conflict resolution Recruiting, onboarding, and retention strategies for hourly workforce Coaching front-line supervisors on performance management Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and HR best practices Lead disciplinary actions, investigations, and documentation processes Support workforce planning and staffing needs for operations Quality Management Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards for warehouse and shop operations Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to company and customer specifications Conduct routine audits and inspections within the facility Identify process improvement opportunities to reduce defects and increase efficiency Partner with operations leadership to drive continuous improvement initiatives Safety & OSHA Compliance Lead all safety programs and ensure full OSHA compliance across the site Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and employee education Manage incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions Maintain safety documentation and ensure regulatory readiness Proactively identify hazards and implement preventative measures Drive a culture of safety accountability across all levels of the organization Operational Partnership Collaborate closely with warehouse and shop leadership to support day-to-day operations Act as a bridge between HR and Operations to align workforce and production goals Support leadership with performance metrics, reporting, and labor insights Participate in leadership meetings and strategic planning Key Competencies Strong leadership and communication skills Hands-on, proactive mindset Ability to balance compliance, people, and operations priorities Detail-oriented with a focus on risk mitigation and process improvement Comfortable in fast-paced, labor-intensive environments We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements 5+ years of experience in HR, Quality, or Safety roles in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environment Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards Experience supporting hourly workforces and shop floor environments Demonstrated experience in employee relations and conflict resolution Ability to work directly on the floor and engage with employees at all levels Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business, Safety, or related field Bilingual in Spanish HR or Safety certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP, OSHA certifications, etc.) Experience in pallet, lumber, logistics, or similar industrial operations Background in quality systems or continuous improvement methodologies
