This role plays a critical part in ensuring regulatory compliance, reducing workplace injuries, and promoting a proactive safety culture across the organization. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement procedures to identify, control, and eliminate workplace hazards Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable federal and state safety regulations Reduce and eliminate OSHA violations through proactive programs and audits Lead safety committees and administer company-wide safety initiatives Incorporate safety training into new-hire onboarding and conduct ongoing employee safety training Perform regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments Investigate incidents and near misses; prepare reports and corrective action plans Manage the Workers' Compensation program Maintain accurate safety records and submit required reports to regulatory agencies Analyze trends and recommend improvements to prevent future incidents Required Skills & Qualifications 1-2 years of safety-related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification preferred Basic First Aid certification and knowledge of Workers' Compensation Advanced computer skills: Excel proficiency required Bilingual (preferred) Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills What We Offer Competitive salary (commensurate with experience) Stable, long-term opportunity with a family-owned manufacturer Collaborative leadership team and strong safety focus #
