This pivotal role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive safety programs that ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for fostering a safety-first culture, leveraging their expertise in occupational health, risk management, and construction management to protect our teams and project assets. Join us in creating safe, efficient, and successful construction environments where safety is at the forefront of every activity. Duties Develop, implement, and oversee safety policies aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards, ANSI (American National Standards Institute) standards, NEC (National Electrical Code), and other relevant regulations. Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards, enforce safety protocols, and ensure adherence to OSHA, ANSI, and construction regulatory compliance standards. Lead risk management efforts by assessing potential hazards, implementing mitigation strategies, and maintaining detailed incident and hazard reports. Coordinate occupational health initiatives including ergonomic assessments, injury prevention programs, and workers' compensation procedures. Provide training sessions for construction teams on safety procedures, OSHA compliance, ANSI standards, EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) practices, and emergency response protocols. Manage compliance management systems to track safety performance metrics, audit results, and corrective actions across multiple sites. Collaborate with construction management teams to integrate safety into project planning phases using construction management software tools. Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related communications with regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site safety management with a strong understanding of OSHA regulations, ANSI standards, NEC codes, and occupational health principles. Demonstrated expertise in risk management techniques tailored to construction environments. Extensive knowledge of workers' compensation processes and occupational health best practices. Familiarity with construction management software platforms for tracking safety compliance and incident reporting. Strong background in construction management with hands-on experience on active construction sites. Excellent communication skills for delivering training sessions and conducting safety audits effectively. Ability to interpret complex regulations related to construction regulatory compliance and translate them into actionable safety procedures.
