Job Description

Salary:
$90,000-$110,000 per year Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Quality & Safety Manager to lead Quality Management System (QMS) and Safety programs across two manufacturing facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality, food safety, and workplace safety standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong background in manufacturing quality systems, safety leadership, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with
ISO 9001
principles and company standards. Manage document control, internal audits, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and management review processes. Monitor key quality metrics and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions. Serve as the primary contact for customer quality concerns and audits. Maintain and improve the SQF-certified food safety system. Lead HACCP program development, validation, and verification. Ensure compliance with GMPs, sanitation, allergen control, and traceability requirements. Coordinate SQF certification audits and regulatory inspections. Lead site safety programs in compliance with OSHA standards. Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions. Oversee safety training, audits, workplace observations, and risk reduction initiatives. Partner with operations leadership to improve quality, safety, and overall process performance across multiple facilities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Food Science, Safety, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of experience in quality and/or safety leadership within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), auditing, and continuous improvement. Experience with SQF, HACCP, GMP, or other food safety systems preferred. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management systems. Proven leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage priorities across multiple manufacturing sites.
