is hiring a high-impact Safety Director to take full control of safety operations across our full fleet. This is the most critical role in the company — you will be responsible for reducing violations, improving CSA scores, enforcing compliance, and building a top-tier safety culture. We are not looking for average. We need someone aggressive, detail-oriented, and results-driven who can identify problems fast and fix them immediately.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Take full ownership of FMCSA compliance, CSA scores, and safety performance Reduce Unsafe Driving, HOS, and Inspection violations immediately Lead and manage a team of Safety Coaches (daily driver calls, coaching quality, accountability) Implement and enforce strict safety policies, discipline structure, and corrective actions Oversee ELD compliance, logbook audits, and violation tracking (daily monitoring) Analyze inspection data, accidents, root causes, and trends Build and execute a 3-month improvement plan with weekly measurable results Conduct driver training, orientation, and in-person corrective sessions Work closely with dispatch, operations, and recruiting to enforce standards Handle accident investigations, DOT audits, and broker safety inquiries Implement incentive and penalty programs (bonuses, violations, terminations)

REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience in trucking safety / FMCSA compliance (REQUIRED) Strong understanding of

CSA, HOS, ELD, DOT

inspections Experience managing safety teams and driver coaching programs Ability to be tough, direct, and enforce rules without hesitation Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and reporting skills Hands-on leader — not afraid to get involved daily Must be available evenings and weekends in case of emergencies or urgent situations
