Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Manager to join our team. As the Safety Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees, contractors, and visitors on our construction sites. You will develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs to promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, including OSHA and NEC standards
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols
  • Provide guidance and support to project managers, supervisors, and workers on safety-related matters
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop corrective actions
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels of the organization
  • Collaborate with construction management teams to integrate safety practices into project planning and execution
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs through data analysis and performance metrics
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, regulations, and emerging trends in occupational health and safety
  • Ensure compliance with workers' compensation requirements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Safety Manager in the construction industry
  • In-depth knowledge of EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) regulations and compliance management
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles
  • Familiarity with construction management software is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively train employees on safety protocols
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop practical solutions This is a contract-based position offering 1099 opportunities for a few weeks contract with substantial potential for overtime.
