JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities Design and execute comprehensive EH&S strategies and policies Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT and other regulatory bodies Conduct risk assessments and lead incident investigations Drive effective risk assessments and in depth incident investigations for root cause, taking lead on significant cases as needed Develop and deliver training programs on safety and environmental practices Monitor and report EH&S performance metrics and KPIs Lead emergency preparedness and response planning Manage hazardous materials, waste disposal, and pollution prevention programs Liaise with government agencies and external stakeholders Promote continuous improvement and employee engagement in EH&S initiatives Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field Experience in hazardous waste site remediation, working with environmental consultants 10+ years of EH&S experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local EH&S regulations Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills Experience with
ISO 14001, OHSAS
18001, or similar standards Proficiency in EH&S management systems and reporting tools Preferred Certifications Certified Safety Professional (CSP) issued by BCSP Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) issued by ABIH Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) issued by
